County parks committee recommends council support of 'green' burial park.
Proposed Penn Hills site would be first fully 'natural' cemetery in Pa.
The Allegheny County Council's Parks Committee has voted to recommend approval of a council resolution supporting the concept for the Penn Forest Natural Burial Park, an environmentally-friendly cemetery proposed for a piece of property near the Penn Hills Community Park.
